Fred Olsen have today announced a 3rd sailing to take in the solar eclipse of March 2015.
A solar eclipse can only occur at New Moon when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun and in order to witness this phenomenon you must be inside the narrow 'Path of Totality' which covers just 1% of the Earth's surface.
Fred Olsen have 3 of their ships positioned in exactly the right place off the coast of the Faroe Islands on the 20th March 2015. Black Watch and Balmoral have both sold out and the Braemar is expected to sell out when she goes on sale on Friday.
